In many communities in Florida there are wonderful parks for exercise. these parks do not charge an entry fee, so it is good for those looking to maintain their budget while getting access to a place to get exercise. Unlike many areas of the United States, Florida seems to have a very high density of these types of parks. They are wonderful places to visit alone or in groups to get a daily workout.
Often included in these parks is a low impact walking path. these low impact walking paths are usually a track of a given length that is soft and easy on joints. The track is often a loosely packed mulch and other materials to offer cushion to the user. With a track like this it gives more opportunity to people to get out and walk. Often these tracks move along water or some kind of scenic area. Some of them limit running and biking so that people can walk without the concern of getting run over.
Along this low impact walkway or on another track all together one may find a spaced workout station. These stations allow you to do specific types of exercises along the way and you get a cardio-vascular workout in between each station. there are often a set of at least ten stations and offer a variety of exercises. Included in these stations are pull-ups, leg lifts, push ups, balance beams, sit ups, and many more exercises. Each station in meant to workout another part of the body, offering a full body work out once the routine is complete. Of course not everyone is immediately capable of doing all the exercises in the park and that is okay too. the best choice is to listen to your body and work as hard as you can. Exercise is not meant to cause exercise and you should consult your doctor before deciding what exercises might be best for you.
